it all started with the the debut of my second sweetheart.
covid hit soon after and here i was stuck inside with my little ones; unable to continue doing my work as a graphic designer.
i savored the slow days making precious memories with my family but missed my job, longing to let my creative spirit run free..
i was searching for versatile bibs for my babies' never ending drool.... and an idea sparked! i quickly realized that thoughtfully made baby wear were not that easy to find.
and so i began a new morning ritual: in between breast feedings, singing lullabies, and tiny hands reaching for me; i’d doodle florals on corners of old notebooks, digging stuff out from closets, and mixing and matching textiles.
thus, in a burst of creative energy, ferné baby was born!
